Defending the onslaught of Poverty
Covid - 19 has, in its wake , brought heavy damages like death, unemployment, economic collapse, diseases and all these together a deep - rooted poverty, upon mankind.The depth of the damage is yet to be assessed.Obviously it is high time that charity organizers trigger into action .Joyalukkas foundation has already started the fire-fighting by distributing food kits, school education materials , smart phones etc.
On June Friday June 24th 2021, Joyalukkas Foundation together with L.F.Hospital Angamaly conducted a food kit distribution ceremony for 350 auto drivers .LF Hospital Director, Fr. Dr. Varghese Pottakal presided the function . Angamaly M.L.A Sri . Roji M John inaugurated the distribution by handing over the first kit .Key-note address was done by Sri. P P. Jose, Chief Coordinator, Joyalukkas Foundation.
Sri. T.C. babu, PRO, LF,thanked the participants. Alluring was the song that was sung by George T A ,which delighted the audience. The auto drivers were provided with awareness classes by. Dr Stigi Joseph, HoD Cardiology, Dr. Gopakumar, Senior consultant and Dr. Jerry Jose, pulmonologist.
