Eye care camp and solar water purifier installation at edamalakudy tribal panchayath by joyalukkas foundation
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Joyalukkas Foundation implemented an Eye Care Camp and installed Solar Water Purifiers at Edamalakudy Tribal Panchayath. The Eye Care Camp was conducted to assess the vision health of the tribal population, during which detailed eye examinations were carried out. Spectacles were distributed to those identified with refractive errors, and individuals diagnosed with cataract will be provided free cataract surgery in association with Holy Family Hospital, Muthalakodam, Thodupuzha.
Recognising the urgent requirement for purified drinking water in the region, Joyalukkas Foundation installed three Solar Water Purifier units at the Primary Health Centre, Government UP School and Homeo Dispensary in Edamalakudy.
